Ahveekhy had embarked on a purposeful and industrious undertaking (especially one that required
effort and boldness).
When he was fourteen, he shared with his father a desire to play guitar. Ahveekhy's father, a music teacher of
some reputation in Long Island, New York said ok. "Son, he said, here's my favorite guitar, if you can learn to play
it, you can have it."
The lad worked hard with perseverance. He had no doubts about the whole endeavor. Ahveekhy
devoted himself to learning and practicing. He would even fall asleep in bed plucking the guitar night after night.
Needless to say, the guitar was soon his and he was playing it on the stage at a contest when the mc "accidentally"
kicked over Ahveekhy's amplifier but Ahveekhy never missed a string, stroke, or beat and finished his song with
"flying colors"
He took his guitar with him wherever he travelled from New York to California and overseas to Ghana West Aftrica.
Ahveekhy now part of organizations created for business and community outreach ventures.
Ahveekhy is a member of BDPA, a multiracial information technology association of global prominence. He is president
elect of Pittsburgh Chapter of BDPA and is leading the global outreach.
BDPA has more than 50 chapters throughout the USA and extends to England and Ghana West Africa.

Ahveekhy has shown a readiness to embark on bold new ventures here in Steel City. He is working with his father
to serve senior citizens, and has played at the Allegheny Senior Citizen Center. The are working on expanding this service
to all senior centers in the Pittsburgh area.
Ahveekhy supports his sister who is working on starting a day care and community center in Pittsburgh. He wants
to teach the young children music.
